2. Treatments & Results
2.1

All treatments are performed professionally and carefully according to current guidelines, insights and professional standards.

2.2

Results vary from person to person and depend on factors including skin type, hair colour, hair thickness, hormones, medication use, genetics, age, lifestyle, treatment intervals and the body area being treated.

2.3

No guarantees are given regarding a specific final result, treatment duration, percentage of hair reduction or complete and permanent hair-free results.

2.4

For optimal results, it is necessary that the client follows all pre-treatment, aftercare and treatment instructions correctly.

2.5 What Can You Expect From Laser Hair Removal?

Laser hair removal is a treatment process in which hair growth is gradually reduced over time. The treatment works by targeting pigment, also known as melanin, within the hair follicle. Hair containing sufficient pigment can be heated during its active growth phase, resulting in long-term weakening of the follicle.

Because hair grows in different cycles and not all follicles are active at the same time, not all hairs can be effectively treated during a single session. In addition, the human body contains dormant or inactive hair follicles that may become active later in life and produce new hair growth.

On average, approximately 6 to 12 treatments are required to achieve significant and long-lasting hair reduction. The exact number of treatments varies from person to person and depends on factors including skin type, hair colour, hair thickness, hormonal influences, medication use, genetics, age, lifestyle, treatment intervals and the body area being treated.

Treatment intervals are scheduled to allow new hairs to enter a treatable growth phase. Depending on the treatment area, intervals generally range from 4 to 8 weeks.

Areas such as the legs often respond more quickly because hair growth tends to be more stable and less influenced by hormones. Areas such as the face, neck and Brazilian area may require additional treatments or maintenance treatments due to stronger hormonal influences.

Complete and lifelong hair-free results cannot be guaranteed. In biological terms, complete permanent hair removal is rarely achievable. The objective of laser hair removal is long-term and significant reduction of unwanted hair growth.

Throughout life, new hair growth may develop due to hormonal, genetic and biological factors, including age, menopause, pregnancy, contraception, PCOS, stress and weight fluctuations. The appearance of new hairs does not necessarily indicate that previous treatments were unsuccessful; these hairs may originate from follicles that were inactive or untreatable at the time of earlier sessions.

Laser hair removal does not always permanently destroy every individual follicle. In many cases, follicles are significantly weakened, causing any returning hairs to become finer, softer, lighter or less noticeable. Maintenance treatments may remain necessary to preserve the achieved result.

For this reason, professional clinics generally refer to long-term hair reduction, permanent hair reduction or significant hair reduction, rather than guaranteed complete or lifelong hair removal.

Results vary between individuals and no guarantees can be provided regarding a specific outcome, percentage of hair reduction or treatment duration.

2.6 Light, Blonde, Grey, Red or Very Fine Hair

In some clients, darker hairs may respond well to laser hair removal at the beginning of the treatment plan. As the treatment progresses, lighter, finer or blonde hairs may remain visible or may appear later.

Because laser hair removal works by targeting pigment, also known as melanin, light, blonde, grey, red or very fine hairs are often less responsive or not effectively treatable with laser. If, during the treatment plan, it becomes clear that the remaining hairs contain insufficient pigment for effective treatment, Miss. Elegance™ may advise ending the treatment plan.

This falls within the normal limitations of laser hair removal and does not entitle the client to a refund, guarantee or free follow-up treatments.

2.7

Starting a treatment plan does not guarantee that further treatments will always be possible, necessary or useful. Miss. Elegance™ reserves the right to end a treatment plan if, in professional judgement, further treatment is not effective, responsible or advisable.
