NOON AESTHETICS · PATENTED DERMSHIELD™

Powerful peel. Without the classic peeling trauma.

NOON works with high concentrations of active ingredients and very low pH levels. The patented DermShield™ technology was developed to significantly suppress the neurogenic response associated with sensations such as burning, redness, itching and irritation. The philosophy is therefore not: the redder and flakier the skin, the better. Quite the opposite. The results should come from the active ingredients — not from how much skin drama you see in the mirror afterwards.

01

NOON Aesthetics & DermShield™

This is exactly where NOON differs from the traditional idea that a strong peel automatically has to burn, cause redness and make the skin visibly peel.

What makes NOON Aesthetics different from a conventional peel?

The combination of powerful active ingredients and DermShield™. With many acids, the stronger the concentration and the lower the pH, the greater the usual risk of irritation.

NOON developed technology specifically to significantly suppress this unwanted neurogenic response. This allows professional protocols to be powerful without making redness, burning and days of visible peeling the objective of the treatment.

In other words: results are interesting. A red face as proof that a treatment worked isn't.

What exactly is DermShield™?

DermShield™ is NOON Aesthetics' patented technology. The technology temporarily influences chemically sensitive Type-C nociceptors involved in sensations such as burning, itching and neurogenic inflammatory responses.

This allows high concentrations of active ingredients to be applied more comfortably. That is the idea behind NOON's combination of “powerful” and “gentle”.

Is a peel only effective if the skin becomes red and starts peeling?

No. That is exactly the misconception that modern skin improvement no longer needs.

Redness, burning and visible flaking mainly tell you something about the skin's reaction. They are not a seal of approval proving that a peel works better.

With NOON, the emphasis is on powerful active ingredients while suppressing unwanted irritation. Your skin doesn't need to spend a week arguing with you before you can say it has been seriously treated.

Is there downtime after a NOON peel?

NOON peels are specifically selected to be performed without planned downtime. This isn't a treatment designed to leave you sitting at home for days with red, painful and visibly peeling skin.

That makes these peels particularly suitable if you want to work seriously on improving your skin while still being able to continue with work, appointments and everyday life.

Which professional NOON peels are available?

Different professional acids and strengths are used, including G-Peel based on glycolic acid, P-Peel based on pyruvic acid, S-Peel with salicylic acid and J-Peel Delicate based on the Jessner principle.

Which peel makes sense depends on your skin condition and treatment goal. Pigmentation, acne, skin ageing and skin texture do not automatically call for the same acid.

What does Nanoconstructed Matrix mean at NOON?

NOON uses a Nanoconstructed Matrix in certain peels. NOON's training material explains that the smaller molecular size and matrix structure provide a more powerful application and improved adhesion to the skin.

One example from the training material: G-Peel 50 Nano is compared in strength with a liquid G-Peel 70. This immediately illustrates why simply looking at the percentage on a bottle does not tell the whole story.

02

Peels, pigmentation & skin rejuvenation

Not every skin concern requires the same treatment. The first step is therefore to look at what you actually want to improve — and only then at the product or technology.

What can professional peels be used for?

Depending on the skin and the chosen protocol, professional peels can be used for concerns including pigmentation, uneven skin tone, acne and blemishes, skin texture, dull skin and signs of skin ageing.

The goal determines the treatment. Not everyone automatically gets the same peel simply because it happens to be popular on Instagram.

Can a peel also help with skin ageing?

Yes. Peels can be used to support cell renewal and work towards smoother skin texture, a fresher complexion, pigmentation improvement and fine lines.

But skin ageing involves more than one thing. A dull surface layer is different from a loss of firmness around the jawline. For the latter, Ultrasound or Radiofrequency may make more sense. And sometimes a combination can be particularly interesting.

Which peel is suitable for pigmentation?

That depends on the type of pigmentation and the surrounding skin. A superficial sun spot, post-inflammatory pigmentation and melasma are not the same thing.

This is why factors such as location, skin type, sun exposure, history and possible hormonal influences are considered first. Only then is an appropriate protocol selected.

And SPF is part of the process. Treating pigmentation and then going out into the sun without protection rather defeats the purpose.

Can peels be used for acne and blemish-prone skin?

Yes. NOON offers professional protocols and products aimed at acne and oilier, blemish-prone skin. Depending on the condition of the skin, acids can be selected to target concerns such as clogged pores, sebum and inflammation-prone skin.

Active acne, post-acne marks and scars are three different stories, however. The first step is therefore to determine which concern needs priority at that moment.

Can sensitive or redness-prone skin also be treated with acids?

It can, but this is precisely where the protocol matters. NOON specifically positions DermShield™ as a technology that allows powerful active ingredients to be used while limiting irritation and neurogenic inflammatory responses.

Sensitive skin therefore does not automatically mean that nothing can be done. It mainly means that experimenting at random isn't a particularly good plan.

Which is better: a peel or Hydra Beauty?

That depends on your goal. If you mainly want to cleanse, hydrate and achieve an immediate fresh glow, Hydra Beauty is a lovely choice.

If you want to work more specifically with professional active ingredients on concerns such as pigmentation, acne, skin texture or skin ageing, a peel is more likely to be the logical choice.

So they are not really competitors. Think of them as two different tools in the same rather beautiful toolbox.

How many peel treatments do I need?

For a fresh-looking complexion, a single treatment can already be very worthwhile. For pigmentation, acne or more noticeable signs of skin ageing, a course of treatments is often more appropriate.

We prefer to look at your goal and how your skin responds rather than blindly selling a standard package in advance. After all, your skin hasn't signed a contract saying it needs exactly six treatments.

Can I have a peel if I have a party or important appointment coming up?

The absence of planned traditional peeling downtime is precisely what makes NOON interesting in this situation. The intention isn't for you to clear your diary for a week while red and flaky skin recovers.

Do you have an important occasion and absolutely don't want any surprises? Just mention it when booking. Your treatment can then be planned accordingly.

SKIN & LIFTING

Advanced skin improvement and lifting — without injectables or surgery

A softer jawline, early jowling, loss of firmness, fine lines or skin that looks less fresh do not automatically require the same technology. That is why we first look at your skin, contours and treatment goal. Professional peels, Ultrasound and Radiofrequency each have their own role.

Jawline More definition and support for a softer contour.
Under the chin A targeted assessment of firmness, skin quality and anatomy.
Skin laxity Supporting collagen and skin structure.
Fine lines For a smoother, fresher and firmer-looking complexion.
03

Microfocused Ultrasound

Targeted ultrasound energy delivered at selected depths beneath the skin. Not to change your face, but to stimulate the natural collagen process and support the tissue.

What does Microfocused Ultrasound do for skin tightening?

Microfocused Ultrasound delivers concentrated ultrasound energy at preselected depths beneath the skin. This creates small thermal treatment points.

This controlled thermal stimulus initiates a healing and remodelling process in which collagen structures can change during the weeks and months following treatment.

What makes this interesting is that treatment is not limited to the surface of the skin. The energy is delivered specifically to deeper tissue layers.

Which areas can benefit from Ultrasound?

Areas where firmness and contour play an important role are particularly suitable, such as the jawline, early jowling and the area beneath the chin.

The appropriate depth and amount of energy depend on the anatomy and treatment goal. This is why the same standard treatment grid is not simply applied to every face.

Will I see the results of Ultrasound immediately?

Sometimes the skin may appear somewhat firmer relatively quickly, but the real process happens afterwards. Collagen isn't rebuilt in a single afternoon.

The natural healing and remodelling process develops over the weeks and months following treatment. This makes Ultrasound particularly suitable for results that develop gradually and naturally.

Is Ultrasound the same as HIFU?

The terms are often used interchangeably online, but there are different systems, energy profiles and ways of applying ultrasound.

More important than simply the abbreviation used in an advertisement are the treatment depth, energy, transducer and the way the tissue is assessed and treated.

Does an Ultrasound lifting treatment hurt?

You may feel brief, deeper sensations as the energy is delivered. Areas close to the jawbone can feel somewhat more sensitive than softer areas of the face.

The goal isn't to prove how tough you are. Effective energy and comfort need to remain properly balanced.

Is Ultrasound the same as a facelift?

No. A surgical facelift surgically repositions and corrects tissue. Ultrasound does something entirely different.

It is a non-surgical energy-based treatment designed to stimulate the body's natural collagen and remodelling processes. Its possibilities and results are therefore not the same as surgery — and we don't claim that they are.

04

Radiofrequency & skin quality

While Ultrasound can work very precisely at selected depths, Radiofrequency uses controlled heat within the tissue. This makes RF interesting for firmness, skin quality and contour.

What does Radiofrequency do for skin laxity?

Radiofrequency heats the tissue in a controlled way. This thermal stimulus can support processes involving collagen, skin quality and firmness.

The focus is therefore not on adding volume or changing your face, but on supporting your own skin structure.

What is the difference between Ultrasound and Radiofrequency?

Both use energy, but they do not work in the same way.

Microfocused Ultrasound can deliver concentrated energy at specific depths. Radiofrequency uses electrical energy to heat tissue in a controlled way.

That also means they don't necessarily compete with one another. Depending on your skin and your goal, one technology may make more sense — or the two may complement each other.

Which is better for my jawline: Ultrasound or RF?

That depends on why your jawline looks less defined. Is skin laxity the main issue? What is the quality of the skin? How much subcutaneous volume is present? And at what depth does the concern originate?

So first we assess, then we choose the technology. Doing it the other way around is a little like buying a hammer first and then looking around to see whether there might be a nail somewhere.

Can Radiofrequency be combined with a peel?

This can be interesting because the two treatments can serve different purposes. A peel primarily works on surface skin quality, pigmentation, texture and renewal, while RF focuses on controlled heat and processes related to firmness.

Whether and when combining them makes sense is assessed according to the skin and protocol. Doing everything at once simply because it is technically possible isn't a strategy.

When will I see results from Radiofrequency?

This depends on the protocol used and your starting point. Heat may create a feeling of firmness relatively quickly, but processes involving new collagen take time.

That is why skin tightening is better assessed over weeks and months rather than five minutes after getting off the treatment bed.

Is there downtime after Radiofrequency?

With non-invasive RF, there is no surgical wound or incision. The treatment is specifically designed to fit into normal life without a prolonged recovery period.

Depending on the technique and intensity, the skin may temporarily feel warm or appear slightly red. That is very different from days of recovery following an invasive treatment.

05

Jawline, under-chin area & realistic expectations

These are the questions that should really come before the name of any device. A softer jawline can be caused by the skin, fat volume, anatomy or a combination of these factors.

Can jowls and a softer jawline be treated without surgery?

For early to moderate skin laxity, energy-based treatments can be used to support firmness and contour.

However, a non-invasive treatment is not a surgical facelift. The aim is a naturally firmer result within the possibilities of your own skin — not suddenly giving you a different face.

Can the area under my chin be treated?

Yes, but first it is important to understand what is causing the fullness beneath the chin. Skin laxity, fat volume and anatomy are not the same thing.

A treatment designed for skin tightening does something different from a treatment aimed at fat reduction. So we assess first. Choosing a device simply because it happens to be sitting in the treatment room isn't a treatment plan.

How many treatments do I need for skin tightening?

That depends on the technology, skin condition and treatment goal. Some Ultrasound protocols are specifically intended as a more intensive treatment, after which the collagen process continues for months. With RF, a series of treatments may make more sense.

So there is no universal “everyone needs six treatments”. The treatment follows the skin — not the sales package.

Why do you assess my skin before treating it?

Because a skin concern isn't the same thing as the name of a device.

A softer jawline can result from skin laxity, changes in volume, fatty tissue or anatomy. Pigmentation requires a completely different approach. Fine lines are different from laxity beneath the chin.

So the first step is to determine what we see, what you want to improve and which technology logically fits that goal. This helps avoid unnecessary treatments — and often unnecessary expense as well.

Will a lifting treatment change my face?

That is precisely not the intention. The focus is on firmness, skin quality and natural contours, not on adding volume or changing your facial features.

You will still look like you. Hopefully just with one of those moments in the mirror when you think: hey, I'm looking rather good today.
